Sri Durga is another name for Sri Shakthi. If it is Shivarathiri - (one night) for Lord Shiva, it is Navarathiri (Nine nights) celebration for Sri Shakthi. The first 3 nights of Navarathiri is dedicated to Sri Durga matha. Mother Sree Durga eliminated the devil Mahishasuran and saved the world. She fought a battle and won it to save us. The metaphor is simple and straightforward. She will win the battle of life for us. She will eliminate our sorrows. She will be with us. All we have to ensure is to do our duty honestly and have faith in her. She will take care of the rest. We have collected slokas and mantras pertaining to Sree Durga matha and have offered it in both text and audio formats. The text is offered in both English and Tamil languages for the convenience of the devotees.
